Libertarians for Big Government

by Eric Dondero

A lot of Libertarians don’t understand what Libertarianism is all about. This garbage about small government is for anarchists like Tom Knapp and the Libertarian Party and Lew Rockwell and Ron Paul. Real Libertarians want to cut taxes, but they also spend money for important things like abortions for poor people or bridges in Alaska. It’s important to have a strong defense to defend against IslamoFascists who want to take over American and kill all Christians and Jews, but that requires money, too.

I like Rudy because he can cut taxes but I like him more because he understands that the Second Amendment is different in New York City than it is in Texas. Real Libertarians limit guns in Big Cities. Real Libertarians smoke marijuana, too and I bet Rudy does too.

I like Libertarian Mitt Romney for his Second Amendment position, because no one should have assault rifles in Massachusetts. Libertarian Romney also had a health care plan that Hitlery and Ted Kennedy hate. Libertarians who complain that the government requires them to buy insurance from Corporations aren’t real Libertarians. They are socialists. And Ted Kennedy is a Chappaquiddick socialist.

John McCain is a Hero. He is a true American Patriot because of Viet Nam. He’s not a Sissy like Democrats and fake Anti-Defense Libertarians. He’s also a Hero for his position on campaign finance reform. BCRA is Libertarian because it helps out the little guy and the Libertarian Party.

Huckabee would be a Libertarian if he didn’t hike taxes. But at least he knows how to spend like a drunken Libertarian. I like him because he wants to kill ragheads in the Middle East, too. Real Libertarians love giving money to Israel, just like Huckabee. If Huckabee would just say abortions are groovy, he’d be a Libertarian, too.

George Bush is the most Libertarian president of my lifetime. He is Pro-Defense and Anti-Tax and Pro-Spending. He’s more Libertarian than Reagan even, because he spent more money. I wish the current Republican candidates were just as Libertarian as President Bush.

Finally, an LP candidate I can get behind

by Eric Dondero

I know I wrote about how much I love Libertarian-Republican Rudy Giuliani, but even I’ve got to admit to myself that Pro-Terrorist candidate Ron Paul is beating Rudy’s ass right now. Maybe in Florida or on Super Tuesday things will change. I just found another candidate to get behind, if Rudy continues to lose, while cruising TrannyWebUSA. First of all, I’ve never been sure if Rudy is a real tranny, but Bennie Lee Ferguson is the real deal!

Even more important, Ms. Ferguson is Pro-America and Pro-Defense. Here’s what she said in her interview:

“For instance, one Libertarian recently referred to me as a ‘hypocrite’ because I generally support U.S. military operations and goals in the Persian Gulf, her rationale being that the very civil rights and liberties I insist on are being denied to Iraqis because of our military presence. I disagree with that contention, but it is illustrative of the debate within the party concerning this issue.”

Real Libertarians are Pro-War and defend Pro-America values. She also said:

“Our goal in these conflicts should be victory and nothing less. Our government and the American people should do whatever is necessary to support our troops in the field and victory in these conflicts. Whether or not these conflicts are the result of ill-advised policy is beside the point. Having become involved, it is incumbent upon the United States to see these conflicts through to a successful conclusion. This is increasingly becoming an issue which affects individual states since so much our fighting force in this conflict is drawn from National Guard and Reserve units.”

With Bennie Lee as president, we could feel safe knowing that our drag queens wouldn’t be forced to wear burqas after the Islamists take over America because she’d kill them over there before they attack America again. Most Libertarians want the Jihadists to invade America.

My perfect candidate would be a fusion Libertarian-Republican person running on a Pro-Defense, Pro-Drugs, Pro-Torture, Pro-Gitmo, Pro-Sex Rights platform who has nationally televised abortions on the campaign trail. But this is probably just a pipe dream.

Bennie Lee should run for the Libertarian nomination if Wayne Allyn Root doesn’t win. He’s Pro-Defense, too. There is no reason why they should be running against each other for president. Or maybe it could be a Root/Ferguson or Ferguson/Root ticket.

Anyway, I’m going to see if I can talk Bennie Lee into taking a fun trip to Mexico with me.

Rudy's Near Win a Win for all Libertarian-Republicans

by Eric Dondero

Rudy Giuliani came close to first place (he was only beaten by Huckabee, Romney, McCain, Thompson, and Paul) in the Iowa caucuses, proving that libertarianism is alive and well in Iowa. Rudy’s absolute defeat not only of Alan Keyes, but also of strong Republicans like Duncan Hunter, Tom Tancredo, Tommy Thompson and Hugh Cort shows that Pro-Defense Libertarians will always win.

It was disappointing that Giuliani lost to Ron Paul. Unfortunately, the Islamofascists, MoveOn.org and George Soros obviously conspired to ensure that Rudy lost in Iowa. Secret sources have told me that Hillary Clinton personally called Osama bin Laden to ensure that Ron Paul got enough money to beat Rudy in Iowa.

Fortunately, we’ve got a secret donor for New Hampshire (shhhh! Don’t tell anyone, but we are sneaking in major portions of Adolf Hitler’s secret treasure to spend on this race). That Adolf guy was a true Libertarian-Republican. He was pro-defense and wasn’t a pussy about waterboarding, unlike some Republicans. He was even better than that Libertarian named Benito. Adolf could torture like a real Libertarian.

Real Libertarians are pro-defense and Rudy’s strong showing proves that killing Jihadists wins elections. Just wait until New Hampshire.

Don't Forget the Real Goal: Revenge

by Eric Dondero

In this new year it is important to remember what our goal really is: revenge! I used to be a pretty mellow guy until 9/11. Then I changed my mind:

Balls to the wall, kill the living shit out of everyone connected with the attack, their families, their friends, and burn their mother fucking villages down to the ground. Nation building? Yeah, that's nice and all. It'd be nice if Iraq, and other Middle Eastern countries, could become democracies. But that's not the be all and end all, and certainly NOT my main motivation. My motivation is REVENGE!!!

It is VERY important to kill their friends and neighbors. We must adopt the morals of the terrorists by killing innocents who happen to be from the same place. If these tactics work for Osama bin Laden, they can work for us.

Happy New Year from the Libertarian Offense Caucus

by Ryan Christiano

Due to the vast and rapid expansionistic policies of The Libertarian Defense Caucus, the suggestion of holding an election for the New Year has been squelched by the leadership. This is a major policy proposal that would be submitted for a vote by all caucus members before moving forward on any election, which is ridiculous. If the caucus holds that an election should be part of our bylaws, we should immediately purge them.

The LDC must first consider if elections should be held in the first place for America, much less our little group.

All caucus members must be involved in such critical decisions. Any votes must include all current Libertarian Defense Caucus members. Those not attending will be executed. This is clearly established in existing caucus bylaws.

Let us move forward as One In Our Fight For Fights!

Top Priority: Elect Bill White

by Eric Dondero

We must divert our attention away from the Giuliani and anti-Paul campaigns to focus on electing one of our own.

Huckabee backs criminal penalties for abortion providers: Pro-Choice Republicans should defeat this man, or I may have to work for a living!

by Eric Dondero

If Mike Huckabee is elected, we'll have medical doctors facing potential criminal prosecution for providing women's reproductive health care. Pro-Choice Republicans need to rise up and unite against the Huckabee threat.

From an interview with the Washington Post, 12/30/7:

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, locked in a tight GOP race in Iowa, said Sunday he would seek to punish doctors who took money to provide abortions to women if he succeeded in outlawing the procedure, as he has long advocated.

"I think if a doctor knowingly took the life of an unborn child for money, and that's why he was doing it, yeah, I think you would, you would find some way to sanction that doctor," Huckabee said during an appearance on NBC's Meet the Press. "I don't know that you'd put him in prison, but there's something to me untoward about a person who has committed himself to healing people and to making people alive who would take money to take an innocent life and to make that life dead."

As most of you know, I am fervently pro-choice. If abortion was not legal, there would be many little Donderos running around and I would not be able to afford the type of activities causing all these pregnancies.

Ron Paul moving closer to 3rd party run: Likely avenue is the Constitutiton Party

Within the last few days, there have been some furious behind the scenes activity going on to set Ron Paul up for a 3rd party run. There've been major indications coming from the Constitution Party and an assortment of newly sprung up Constutionalist parties, in particular, that Paul is moving in that direction.

For instance, the Alabama Constitution Party just formally endorsed Ron Paul for President two days ago. A new group called the "Texas Independence Party" praised Ron Paul in their announcement of their formation and informed the TX Secretary of State that they will be petititioning for ballot status.

Still others, swear he's planning to seek the Libertarian Party nomination. Yet, the indications are that an effort is under way to get LPers to support Paul, rather than him seeking their nomination. (We cannot disclose specific information that we are planning to make up at this point on this front. Should be invented and released within a day or two.)

Now comes this. From the Swamp, 12/27/7:

"We're having a lot of young people out here right now rounding up the troops and teaching about where to go and what to do."
"We have to do our best by the day of the caucus."

If he doesn't do well in the early primaries, Paul said he would re-evaluate his Republican bid and the possibility of a third-party run depending on how he does in the contests on Super Tuesday, Feb. 5.

"With my staff I've never discussed it, but I sort of have that in my mind."

This comes on the heels of Paul's joke to Tim Russert last Sunday that he needed a "little wiggle room" on the 3rd party question.

Stay tuned here for the latest breaking news on this front.

Editor's Note - LR Blog is inventing details of the behind-the-scenes details of Ron Paul's planned 3rd party effort, but is not prepared to release them as of this writing. But you all will be among the very first to know. Also, keep a watch on our sister site - http://www.mainstreamlibertarian.com/. The windbreaking news may be released there, possibly on January 1 or 2.

If Nomination Eludes Him, Giuliani Should Launch Independent Bid.

By Ryan Christiano

If the smoke clears from the conflagration ignited by the ferocity of the presidential primary season; and a social conservative is left standing as the GOP presidential nominee, then Mayor Giuliani should launch an Independent presidential campaign.

In the event that Mayor Giuliani’s risky fifty state strategy, that relies heavily upon a Florida primary victories catapulting him to a string of successes come Super Tuesday, fails, then his chances are greatly diminished at being able to grasp the brass ring. The nomination would be out of reach for him, but not necessarily the keys to The White House.

The time might come when it becomes clear that the conservatives have prevailed over the social moderates for the soul of the Party, and that a social conservative is going to confront the Democrat nominee in the general election. Such a time might create a unique opportunity in U.S. presidential elections; a successful bid by a candidate outside of the dualopoly.

Such a candidate would have to posses certain attributes. This candidate would have to have the ability to gain the support of independents, moderates, and centrists. Reserves of vast financial resources would also be a prerequisite. This candidate would have to have sufficient name recognition and an appeal that the nominees are without. The candidate would need to emphasis change, leadership, and a certain level of gravitas that would convince individuals to sway away from the comforting caress of the Republicans and Democrats.

Mayor Giuliani was a two term Republican mayor in one of the most liberal cities in the nation. He received support from Republicans, Democrats, moderates, independents and centrists alike. The mayor has a personal fortune estimated well into the millions of dollars resulting from his speaking engagements and his successful Giuliani and Partners firm. The mayor is known around the world for his outstanding leadership in the days and weeks following September 11th. Declared Time Magazine’s Man of The Year and ‘America’s Mayor’, he possesses name recognition in spades. He has a larger than life persona that could persuade party loyalists to break away and support an independent bid. As mayor of the media capital of the world, he knows how to utilize the media to disseminate his message.

With an Independent run, Giuliani could reach across ideological boundaries and be an attractive candidate to an electorate disgruntled and dissatisfied with the elephants and the jackasses. An Independent campaign can only be conceived of if the GOP ultimately nominates a social conservative. If another social moderate other than Giuliani, such as Senator McCain or Governor Romney, gets the nod, then such a bid is likely doomed to fail.

The mayor should play to win the game he’s in right now, but if he’s forced to cash in his chips prematurely, perhaps he should roll the dice and see what happens.
